The degree programmes at Health must provide graduates with both academic and praxis-oriented competencies that fulfil society's needs. Our work placements play an important role in this.
The objective of project placements as part of the degree programmes at Health is:
Health offers the following project placements:
Project placement is an opportunity for you to use your subject knowledge on the labour market. This is an opportunity to work with praxis-oriented, career-relevant topics, meet potential employers and build networks with potential employers and connect with professional role models in relevant positions.
Project placement is an opportunity for you to strengthen your connection to the labour market. It is also an opportunity to keep up to date with praxis-oriented and career-relevant topics and gain inspiration to integrate these into your teaching.
Project placement contributes to ensuring that degree programmes are aligned with society's needs, and that students acquire relevant skills and competencies. The aim of students' evaluations of work placements and project placements as well as ongoing dialogue with work placement hosts is to help boards of studies and directors of studies to assure and develop the quality of the format of requirements for, and relevance of, work placements and project placements.
The board of studies determines requirements for the scope of the project placement (number of hours) and how these are assessed.
For all our project placements, the company and the student sign a project placement agreement/contract before the project placement starts. This agreement is an important element in aligning expectations with the company and helps to ensure the quality of the project work and project placement and the students' outcomes.
The board of studies closely monitors the students' evaluations of the project placements. Project placements are evaluated as part of the general teaching evaluation. You can read about teaching evaluation on the "High-quality, coherent degree programmes" page.
If you have any questions about project placements at Health, you are welcome to contact the relevant director of studies.
