The overall quality processes, the annual status review and degree programme evaluation are conducted on all degree programmes - either individually or in groups of related degree programmes.

The quality assurance processes should be considered in the context of the quality model at Aarhus University. 

The quality assurance processes aim to:

• View the degree programmes from a holistic perspective – from recruitment through learning processes to the labour market.
• Identify strengths, weaknesses and challenges of the degree programmes with a view to maintaining high quality.
• Analyse weaknesses in order to identify causes and actions that can support development within the area identified.
• Contribute to a shared understanding and approach to degree programme quality assurance.
