The objective of the status review meetings is to review the status of a degree programme’s quality, strengths and weaknesses with an aim to developing the quality of the programme. The status review meeting is an annual dialogue between key stakeholders for the degree programme (see meeting participants). The purpose of the meeting is also to follow up on actions and development activities initiated since the last status review meeting.

The meeting is a chance to identify concrete and potential challenges and discuss how they can be prevented or mitigated in the future. For example, meeting participants may choose to discuss how critical teaching evaluations can be improved, or how to prevent high dropout rates in the first year of study.
