The faculty’s quality assurance of degree programmes is summarised in the annual degree programme report, which accounts for the quality of the degree programmes based on the annual status reviews and degree programme evaluations.
The degree programme report serves three objectives:
To contribute to the ongoing development of degree programmes.
To enable an assessment of the adequacy of the quality assurance organisation and the quality assurance activities.
The Forum for Education discusses the status of the faculty’s action plan and the development of the action plan for the coming year.
The final degree programme report and the accompanying statement by management are approved by the faculty leadership team, and the report is then included in the education report for Aarhus University.
As a follow-up on the annual degree programme quality assurance processes, the Education Committee draws up an education report, taking stock of the action plan for the past year, providing a status on the quality of the degree programmes and setting out action plan for the coming year.
The education report is discussed by the senior management team, which then reflects and concludes on the report before informing the board. The conclusion by the senior management team takes the form of a statement by management.
The statement by management is presented to the board together with the education report.
