The Student Counsellors' Office exists to help students when they meet challenges in student life or want to take advantage of some of the opportunities of being a student.
Students can use the collective or individual services offered by the Student Counsellors' Office.
They mostly concern:
Lecturers can refer students to the Student Counsellors' Office when they meet students who need sparring, help or support.
Lecturers can engage in dialogue with the Student Counsellors' Office if they see a particular need in students that the Student Counsellors' Office can help with.
The board of studies can engage in dialogue with the Student Counsellors' Office if they see a particular need in students that the Student Counsellors' Office can help with.
The board of studies receives ongoing information about their students from the Student Counsellors' Office in the form of evaluations and figures from the registration of enquiries.
The Student Counsellors' Office works according to an annual schedule. In the annual schedule, we determine which guidance services we offer and when. These include study techniques workshops, thesis seminars and information meetings.
In addition, there is always the possibility of individual guidance by email, phone or in person.
Our student counsellors must complete a 'basic course in student guidance' provided by AU.
We register all enquiries from students in an enquiry survey. Data is available in Power BI.
We evaluate our events and the student orientation programme on an ongoing basis.
